Pharmacy Technician for In-Office Dispensary

As a Pharmacy Technician you will assist with various pharmacy activities under the supervision of the physician(s) by performing the following functions:
-Accessing SureScripts for prescriptions
-Entering patient data in software system (demographics, allergies, insurance, etc)
-Adjudicating claims electronically through software system
-Resolving insurance rejections
-Filling prescriptions
-Managing inventory by receiving stock in software system, stocking inventory on shelves, perform quarterly out-date checks, setting order points, preparing order for physician to review

Job Summary:

Provides non-licensed medical and scheduling support to medical providers in the care and treatment of patients.Conveys a positive image through excellent communications, customer service skills scheduling to support patients/families, and facility personnel. Acts as a liaison between patients and physicians when appropriate. Schedules initial and follow up appointments with patients and provides additional information to patients on an as needed basis to ensure continuity of care. Nurse Practitioner Specializing in Psychiatry

Job Description

  • Assess and evaluate adults/adolescents experiencing symptoms of a behavioral health disorder.
  • Analyze and evaluate patient data/information and test or examine findings to diagnose nature and extent of behavioral health disorder(s).
  • Prescribe, and/or direct psychotherapeutic treatments or medication to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders.
  • Collaborate with physicians, advance practice nurses, psychologists, social workers, nurses, or other professionals to discuss service plans and progress.
  • Gather and maintain patient information and records, including social and medical history obtained via self-report, relatives, and other professionals.
  • Counsel patients during appointments as necessary.
  • Design/participate in the development of individualized service plans, using a variety of treatments.
  • Examine or order laboratory or diagnostic tests for patients to provide information on general physical condition and mental disorder.
  • Advise and inform guardians, relatives, and significant others of patient’s conditions and treatment when clinically appropriate.
  • Review and evaluate treatment procedures and outcomes of other psychiatrists and medical professionals.
  • Prepare and submit assessments, progress notes, reports and summaries to entities/agencies as required by organization where placed.
  • Return calls and emails promptly (within 24 hours of receipt or sooner if clinically necessary).
  • Follow the chain of command at the organization where placed (e.g. clinical issues should be brought to the attention of the placement organization’s medical director etc.)
  • Abide by the policies and procedures of the organization where placed.

Required Credentials

  • Graduation from a program specializing in a psychiatry/mental health;
  • ANCC certification in one of the following areas:
  • Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
  • An unrestricted DEA registration in each state where direct services will be provided;
  • A state-issued Controlled Substance Registration (CSR) in each state where direct services will be provided (if required by state);
  • Registration with the state Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP) in each state where direct services will be provided (if required by state);
  • No suspension/exclusion/debarment from participation in federal health care programs (e.g. Medicare, Medicaid, SCHIP)

Primary Care Physician

Applicants should have an unrestricted Nevada professional license, and have completed training in a primary care specialty area.

The staff provider is under the direct supervision of the Chief Medical Officer. Our providers are participants in, and leaders of, the health care team which works to support the health and care of patients at Well Care Medical and Behavioral Clinic

--Job Duties--

  • Provide direct patient care in accordance with standard medical practice.
  • Maintain current licensure and certifications as appropriate.
  • Coordinate Activities of clinic staff, as needed and as requested. Provide support, guidance, and training to staff as required.
  • Assist and work with other providers and staff to promote continuous quality improvement.
  • Supervise medical students, resident physicians and other health professionals at the health center as assigned.

Psychiatrist

Job Description

Our clinic is currently in search of an experienced Psychiatrist who is licensed in the State of Nevada. As a contributing member to the primary care team, the Psychiatrist is responsible for providing psychiatric and physical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of clientele in accordance with Medicaid standards and all other applicable department rules and regulations.

Psychiatrist responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial patient evaluations and take detailed medical histories
  • functions as a member of the clinical treatment team, and coordinates treatment modalities
  • Authorizes all treatment plans
  • Consults with other clinical staff on difficult cases

Nurse Practitioner Specializing in Women's Services

The Nurse Practitioner (NP) is responsible for the assessment of patients in the designated service. The NP performs physical examinations, confers with patients in person and by phone/electronically, collaborates with others in the department to assure smooth flow of patient care consistent with established quality indicators and participates in the overall coordination of patient care.
Essential Functions:
• Practices under the standard procedure established for the NP role in accordance with requirement set forth by the Nevada Board of Registered Nursing.
• Conducts age appropriate assessments of patients, including history taking and physical examination consistent with department protocol.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage medical chronic and acute conditions effectively in collaboration with a physician or specialty provider
  • Perform comprehensive assessments and document findings in a concise/comprehensive manner that is compliant with documentation requirements and Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) regulations
  • Ensure that all diagnoses are ICD9/ICD10 coded accurately and documented appropriately to support the diagnosis
  • Ensure that all quality elements are addressed and documented
  • Conduct a post-hospitalization medication reconciliation
  • Facilitate agreement and implementation of the member's plan of care by engaging the facility staff, families/responsible parties, primary and specialty care physicians
  • Utilizes practice guidelines and protocols established by the facility
  • Care Coordination
  • Assess the medical necessity/effectiveness of ancillary services to determine the appropriate initiation of benefit events and communicate the process to providers and appropriate team members

Required Qualifications:
